| Jininka was born in Limpopo in the Village called Ha-Sinthumule (Ravele) 15-20km from the small town Makhado. She started singing at the age of ten as a junior church choir member and realized that she is a talented lead singer. Jininkas’ talent paved her way to join a well known community choir called The Holly Servants Choir whom she performed with for eight years before relocating to Johannesburg.
Jininka has worked with artist like Humbulani Ramagwedzha, Ronny Rambah and DJ Davic of Masana Records. In 2006 she met Mukosi Netshiheni and worked with him on her second Reggae album called “Nne na inwi” which was released in March 2007. This is reggae in its true form but with that African twist that will immediately grab you. |
